Named one of USA Today’s top 10 juice bars in 2014, Raw & Juicy is a delicious juice bar that has become a staple to the 30A community. Raw & Juicy originally started out on Airstream Row in Seaside, gaining a devoted base of customers who love all things organic, healthy, and delicious. The juice bar has since moved to a new location in Alys Beach, where it continues to serve the enthusiastic community of juice-loving beachgoers.
Of course, we loved its previous location – there’s a certain charm to being served a scrumptious strawberry smoothie from a converted trailer and enjoying its refreshing goodness from the outdoor seating in the breezy coastal air. But, its Alys Beach location offers increased space and ambiance, allowing Raw & Juicy to reach its full potential as an eco-friendly juice bar that is loved by both locals and visitors.
Raw & Juicy serves fresh-pressed juices, smoothies, bowls, and an expanded menu of organic whole foods. The menu is vegetarian and vegan, using fresh, organic, and real ingredients. According to the owner, Jen Kuntz, “Ingredients are crucial to us, from an environmental perspective, a sustainability perspective, and a health perspective.” With its menu selections made from only the best ingredients, Raw & Juicy aims to share a healthy lifestyle with its patrons.
The Alys Beach location also enabled the shop to extend its hours – so we can grab a healthy treat at any time! Breakfast runs from 8 am to 10 am daily, offering acai bowls, eggs and greens, coffees, and smoothies. The acai bowl is a crowd favorite, a tasty blend of fruit, bee pollen, hemp, granola, and nut butter. The menu features a variety of smoothies, including the Pink Panther with strawberries and bananas, the Antioxidant made from berries and oat milk, the Green Smoothie with healthy greens and fruit, as well as others. Top off the morning with a Cappuccino or Bulletproof Coffee, and you’re bound to have a great day! Raw & Juicy opens up its full menu between 10 am and 3 pm. Spinach & Artichoke Flatbread, Forbidden Thai Coconut Curry, the Lentil Beet Burger, Costa Rican Bowl, and Tangy Kale Chips are just a few of the delicious options available. From Thursday through Saturday between 5 pm and 9 pm, Raw & Juicy offers a kind of happy hour, with bar drinks, music, and tapas. For drinks, choose from Natterjack Irish Whisky, the R&J Margarita, Blueberry Summit, Vodka Martini, and more. Raw & Juicy is also currently providing delivery on 30A. Put your order in by midnight on Wednesday, and you’ll receive your order on Friday. How great is that?
The food and drinks aren’t the only aspects of this juice bar that make it stand out above the rest – although that would be enough! The atmosphere is also vibrant and friendly, turning first-time customers into regulars. The staff treats every customer like an old friend, offering suggestions and a smile. Indoor seating offers a refreshing respite from the coastal heat, and the quaint paradise location makes relaxing easy. In keeping with its environmentally friendly attitude, Raw & Juicy also ensures it operates using eco-friendly methods. For example, the fresh-pressed juices are served in pretty glass bottles that can be reused. Its staff also developed metal straw kits to help eliminate single-use plastics that pollute the Gulf and oceans.
