Oktoberfest in Grayton Beach

Fall is finally here! Football is back in season, restaurant waits are gone, traffic is near to none, and each day greets us with the feeling of crisp, cool morning air. Summer is dwindling, and Fall is starting to make an appearance on 30A. While it's still warm and sunny enough to enjoy the beautiful beaches, lakes, and wildlife — we can't help but feel some excitement for the encroaching autumn season! There is no better way to usher in Fall than with a proper celebration of Oktoberfest in Grayton Beach! Luckily, Grayton Beer Company has an event right up our alley.

Reminiscent of Munich, Germany's iconic Oktoberfest, Grayton Beer Company is throwing its inaugural celebration in benefit of the nonprofit organization and charity Food for Thought. Over ten local breweries are participating in this year's festivities including well-known favorites like SweetWater Brewing Company, Oyster City Brewing Company, and Idyll Hounds Brewing Company. Of course everyone's favorite Grayton Beer Company brews will be poured in abundance as well. Traditional German fare (including German sausage and soft pretzels!) will be available to enjoy in addition to the brewpub's regular menu items as well. Live music will set the tone for a fun and entertaining afternoon!

The event takes place September 28th at the Grayton Beach Brewpub, and general admission tickets cost $55. Your ticket guarantees you unlimited pours of beer and a commemorative sampling glass. Proceeds benefit Food For Thought, which is a local non-profit organization that provides backpacks filled with healthy food for students who are dependent on free school meals and otherwise would not have food available.

An afternoon of delicious food and cold beer in honor of a great cause awaits! If you've already got your 30A vacation rental booked with us, all you have left to do is visit graytonbeer.com to purchase your Oktoberfest tickets. Cheers! Or, as the Germans say, Prost!
