Stinky’s Fish Camp

Location: Western end of Dune Allen Beach

Hours: Daily, 11:00am – 10:00pm

A local institution in the culinary scene, Stinky’s Fish Camp draws lines that extend out the door (despite the restaurant’s off-putting name). You can get baskets of deep-fried fish, fancily prepared catfish, crawfish pie, buffalo frog legs, and more!

The Red Bar

Location: Grayton Beach

Hours: Daily, 11:00am – 10:00pm

This restaurant in 30A draws a crowd for its fantastic eats, craft cocktails, and spectacular live music. Its menu is simple, but high-quality, consisting of favorites like shrimp and crawfish pasta, crab cakes, and panne chicken with mashed potatoes. Plan ahead before you go, however; neither reservations nor credit cards are accepted here, but there is an ATM on site.

The Vue on 30A

Location: Santa Rosa Beach, just east of Dune Allen

Hours: Monday through Saturday, 11:00am – 9:00pm; Sundays, 10:00am – 2:00pm

Palate-pleasing New American fare is the name of the game at The Vue on 30A. Try dishes like tuna poke, D.A. venison rolls, smoked crab cakes, pan-seared snapper, pistachio-crusted grouper, and even lamb rack at this beachfront restaurant with an incredible view.

723 Whiskey Bravo

Location: Seagrove Beach

Hours: Monday through Saturday, 11:00am – 10:00pm; closed Sundays

Offering scenic rooftop dining and indoor seating, 723 Whiskey Bravo is another local favorite. Indulge in fanciful twists on classic dishes, from sweet chili calamari and crispy fried grouper bites with remoulade to barbeque salmon and shrimp and grits. The restaurant accepts same-day dinner reservations for the indoor dining room, but roof seating is a first-come, first-serve basis.

Bonus: Dessert

As an after-dinner treat, grab a bite of an indulgent dessert at local mainstays like Blue Mountain Beach Creamery in Blue Mountain Beach and The Sugar Shak in Rosemary Beach east of Seacrest Beach and Alys Beach.
